Ban Appeals

PA EDITION

Ban Appeals

If you were banned from GTA Roleplay – PA Edition, you may be eligible to appeal. Appeals are reviewed for honesty, accountability, and a realistic plan to follow rules moving forward.

Before You Submit

Appeals are not a debate. The fastest way to get denied is blaming staff, attacking other players, or denying obvious facts. The fastest way to get reviewed fairly is taking responsibility and showing you understand the rules you broke.

Eligibility

  • You can appeal once per ban unless staff says otherwise.
  • Permanent bans may require extra review and longer timelines.
  • If you were banned for repeated behavior, your appeal must address the pattern.
  • If your ban was for severe misconduct, staff may deny without further discussion.

Instant Denial Reasons

  • Insults, threats, harassment, or disrespect toward staff/community.
  • Lying about what happened or leaving out key details.
  • “Everyone else did it” or “staff is biased” type arguments.
  • No plan to change behavior or follow the rules.

What to Include in a Strong Appeal

1) Your Identifiers
Discord name, FiveM name, and any character names used at the time.
2) What Happened
A short, factual summary. Don’t write a novel—just the key timeline.
3) The Rule(s)
Identify what rule you violated and confirm you understand why it matters.
4) Accountability
Explain what you should have done instead. Own your part—no excuses.
5) Plan to Improve
What changes will prevent a repeat? Examples: re-reading rules, avoiding escalation, staying in-character.
6) Evidence (Optional)
Provide clips/screenshots only if they’re relevant and easy to review.

How Appeals Are Reviewed

  1. Staff verifies your identifiers and ban reason.
  2. Your appeal is reviewed for accountability and rule understanding.
  3. Relevant evidence (if provided) is checked.
  4. A decision is made: approved, denied, or approved with conditions.

If your appeal is approved, you are expected to follow rules strictly. Repeat issues after an approved appeal are usually handled more aggressively.
