Purpose of the Rules
Keystone Region is structured, serious roleplay. These rules exist to ensure fairness, realism, immersion, and respect across all interactions. Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse.
Enforcement follows Keystone’s authority model: canon defines standards, courts review outcomes, and staff enforce process — not opinions.
General Conduct
- Respect all players, staff members, and community representatives.
- No harassment, hate speech, threats, or discrimination of any kind.
- Follow staff instructions during active moderation and safety stops.
- No exploiting bugs, glitches, or unintended mechanics.
- Act in good faith. Don’t look for loopholes.
Roleplay Standards
- Stay in character unless staff instruct otherwise during a safety stop.
- No powergaming, metagaming, or FailRP.
- Value your life and the lives of others.
- Roleplay injuries, consequences, and outcomes realistically.
- Do not force outcomes on other players.
Communication Rules
- Use in-character voice and text appropriately.
- No OOC information shared during active RP scenarios.
- A clear, functional microphone is required.
- Radio and phone usage must follow RP logic.
Rule Enforcement
Violations may result in warnings, restrictions, suspensions, or removal depending on severity and history. Keystone Region prioritizes documentation and consistency.
Enforcement actions and disputed outcomes follow the official review path. See Punishments & Enforcement and the Courts & Appeals process for appeals and formal review.
