Step 1

Confirm This Server Is for You

Keystone Region IS for players who want:

  • Serious, grounded roleplay
  • Long-term characters (not disposable lives)
  • Clear rules applied consistently
  • Courts that review arrests, escalation, and staff actions
  • Statewide realism (PSP, counties, jurisdictions)
  • Persistence — what happens matters tomorrow

Keystone Region is NOT for:

  • Fast cash / grind RP
  • Meme or chaos RP
  • Admin-decided outcomes
  • Powergaming or meta-gaming
  • Servers that reset every few months

If you want structure, fairness, and permanence — continue.

Step 2

Read the Minimum Canon (Required)

You do not need to memorize everything. You do need to understand how Keystone Region works. These pages define authority, escalation, and review.

How Keystone Works Canon Authority
Non-negotiable: Keystone Region does not bend rules or outcomes for convenience. If that’s not what you want, do not apply.
Step 3

Character Rules

Characters

  • One main character at launch
  • Optional second slot may be added later
  • Characters are persistent
  • No permadeath at launch (opt-in later)

Character creation requires:

  • Name
  • Age (18+)
  • Short backstory
  • Job interest

Your character is expected to value their life, react realistically to danger, and build reputation over time.

Step 4

Enforcement & Staff Interaction

Keystone Region runs on a strict authority order designed to prevent chaos and protect fairness.

  1. Players create RP
  2. Departments enforce in-character
  3. Courts decide legality and outcomes
  4. Staff enforce process — nothing more
Staff do not decide guilt, escalate crimes “for content,” override courts, or punish players because it’s “better for the server.”

Requirements

You must:

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have a working microphone
  • Use Discord
  • Communicate clearly in RP
  • Follow system instructions during active RP

You must not:

  • Argue rulings in the moment
  • Break character to resolve disputes
  • Ignore injury, custody, or court outcomes
  • Attempt to bypass systems

Disputes go through the appeals process — not arguments.

Keystone Region uses controlled onboarding to protect RP quality and long-term continuity.

  3. Wait for review
  4. If approved, receive onboarding instructions
  5. Join Discord for announcements and onboarding

Supporter status never affects enforcement, courts, or appeals.
