Realistic Escalation
Build heat over time. Don’t jump straight to extreme violence or forced outcomes.
Fair Play
Crime RP must give victims and departments options—no “speed-running” scenes.
Consequences
If you get caught or injured, accept the arc. Consequences create the best long-term stories.
Criminal RP Rule Set
Staff will use these rules when reviewing robberies, kidnappings, gang conflict, and any criminal scene. If you’re unsure, choose the option that keeps RP playable and avoids forced outcomes.
1) Initiation & Escalation
- Make your intent clear (what you want, and why).
- Give time to respond—no instant violence as a shortcut.
- Escalation must match the situation and threat level.
- No random violence (RDM) or forced scenes.
2) Value Your Life
- Act like your character wants to survive.
- Don’t treat gunfights, crashes, or jail like a reset button.
- Major injury requires believable downtime and limitations.
- If you lose, roleplay the loss—don’t dodge consequences.
3) Crews, Gangs, and Group Crime
- Crews must be organized and story-driven—not grief squads.
- No “invite spam” gangs used to bypass consequences.
- Don’t stack unfair numbers to farm wins—keep it playable.
- Group conflict should develop over time with clear motives.
4) Robberies & Heists
- Plan first. Rushing into chaos is not “serious RP.”
- Robberies must include negotiation/interaction when PD arrives.
- No “no-RP” speed runs just to take money and dip.
- Don’t abuse mechanics to make robberies unwinnable for PD.
5) Hostages & Kidnapping
- Hostage RP must be playable and handled respectfully.
- No forced “hardline” outcomes—negotiation is expected.
- No dragging scenes for hours with no progress.
- Follow staff direction if a scene is paused or limited.
6) Shootouts & Violence
- Violence is a last step, not the first option.
- No “shoot first” behavior to avoid dialogue or arrest RP.
- Don’t force wins with powergaming tactics or exploits.
- After violence: roleplay injuries and aftermath realistically.
7) Metagaming & Stream Sniping
- No using streams, chats, or external comms to locate players.
- No “knowing” identities or plans without in-RP discovery.
- If you suspect it, report it—don’t retaliate.
8) Scene Dodging / Combat Logging
- No disconnecting to avoid arrest, death, or consequences.
- No “resetting” scenes by swapping characters or hiding OOC.
- If you crash, communicate and return as directed by staff.
Disputes & Reports
Don’t argue OOC in the middle of an active robbery or scene. Finish the RP, then use the proper process. Staff will review evidence and apply standards consistently.
