Immersion
Stay in-character. Don’t drag OOC into scenes. Treat the world like it’s real.
Realism
Actions have consequences. Injuries matter. Decisions should be believable for the situation.
Scene Integrity
Give others options and time to react. Don’t force outcomes or “speed-run” RP.
Roleplay Standards
These rules define how RP must be played on PA Edition. Staff will use these standards when reviewing scenes, reports, and disputes.
1) Metagaming (Not Allowed)
- No using stream/chat/Discord/OOC info to gain advantage.
- No “recognizing” people from voice, nameplates, or OOC clues.
- If your character doesn’t know it, you don’t act on it.
2) Powergaming (Not Allowed)
- No forcing outcomes: “You’re knocked out” / “You can’t move” / auto-cuffs.
- No impossible actions or superhero behavior.
- No ignoring injuries, fear, or realistic limitations.
3) Value Your Life (Required)
- Fear and self-preservation should show in dangerous situations.
- Don’t treat death, injury, or jail like a “reset.”
- Major trauma requires believable recovery and limits.
4) Fail RP / Scene Breaking
- No trolling, baiting, or intentionally ruining scenes.
- No “instant escalation” to avoid dialogue or consequences.
- Don’t dip out of RP to dodge outcomes (combat logging / scene dodging).
5) Initiation & Escalation
- Clear intent: people must understand what you want in the scene.
- Give time to respond—don’t rush straight to violence.
- Escalation must match context and threat level.
6) Consent, Limits, and Lines
- Respect boundaries. If someone steps back, don’t pressure them.
- No forced uncomfortable content. Keep it mature and RP-safe.
- Staff may end scenes that cross lines or become toxic.
Disputes: What to Do (and Not Do)
Do
- Stay calm and finish the scene if possible.
- Collect evidence (clip / screenshot) if needed.
- Use Support or Appeals after the fact.
Don’t
- Argue OOC in the middle of RP.
- Weaponize your audience or social media.
- Refuse staff direction during active situations.
